Nobody knows wether he's just wants a quiet drink or he's staying there to avoid going home but one thing is for sure he's most definetly found Peace and Plenty. I personally spent my childhood living in pubs as my parents were landlords in the seventies and eighties so I recall man a lonely character sitting quietly in a corner enjoying the tranquility of loneliness for an hour or two. The colour choices within this picture were used to reflect the age and sobriety of green leather and brown wood which reflects the somber tones of the public houses of the seventies.
