Tittle print coming soon

Growing up in pubs and bars in my youth I used watch the locals putting the world to rights over a Sunday afternoon pint or two, everyone over a certain age remembers the two old guys always standing at the same place at the bar every week locked in deep conversation discussing every other person in the pub that day.

Painted in oils this was an obvious choice to me with it being a world ingrained in my memory and is the start of a series of prints all based on old pub scenes.

Done during the recent lockdown it became a very pleasing and thought provoking piece due to the memories and faces it brought back to me and the atmosphere I sought to catch using dulled tones to bring back that monochrome world that were the pubs of the past.

I hope you like it and please let me know your thoughts.
